NATO troops, tanks take part in drills in Latvia

The Enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group in Latvia held a NATO military training exercise at the Adazi training ground

STORY: From March 20 to March 31, ten nations are taking part in the Crystal Arrow exercises aimed at improving cooperation between the armed forces of NATO countries.

U.S. troops participated to the drill, alongside the nine countries part of the Canadian-led multinational battlegroup in Latvia – Albania, Czech Republic, Italy, Montenegro, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and Slovenia.

Spanish forces also displayed their NASAMS, middle-range defense system, deployed in Latvia’s base of Lielvarde.
